The Journey

My Bucket List:

The purpose of this post is pretty much to give whoever is actually reading my posts an inside look into who I am through a fraction of my bucket list. The reason: For a while now I’ve had people stare at me with a surprised face when I tell them what I used to like, what I do like & what I would like to do in the future.

I was going through some old documents on my hard drive/ creating more space, when I happened to stumble upon my old bucket list hidden in between a bunch of old assignment from University. I had created my list last year in January, and for a while I had added things to it here and there, but now that I look back I realized I forgot about it and I have yet to cross things off … It’s about 200 things at the moment, but I’m planning on adding a bunch of things to it.

One HUGE thing about me is that for everything in my life I MAKE LISTS… yes I’ll make a grocery list, a to-do list… but I also make list for random things. So going through my list here are a few out of 200+ things I HAVE achieved… and some I have still to cross off.

1.Learn to surf

2.Learn French (In the works: currently in University studying it)

3.Learn to play the Ukulele (Working on it)

4.Get my college diploma

5.Sell my original work(Paintings)

6.Have my work exhibited in a gallery

7.Go on a road trip with friends

8.Give someone a haircut

9. #43-85 where specific places around the world I would like to visit (world traveler)

10.Learn to say no without feeling guilty

11.Learn to act within my sphere of influence & stop worrying about things which are not withing my control (Still learning)

12. Get my Masters/ Phd

13.Survive in the wilderness for 3 days on my own

14. Run a half/full marathon

15. Climb Mount Kilimanjaro

16.Ride in a hot air balloon

17. Go rock climbing on an actual cliff

18. Cut the ribbon at a major opening (I was the person HOLDING the ribbon, that was cut… if it counts for anything)

19.Teach at an orphanage

20. Teach English over-seas for a year

So I’ll kinda leave it at 20, it looks like a good round number… But I realized I have a long way to go if I want to cross off over 200 things, Guess I better get to it then!

Challenge: Make a bucket list of your own… I hear TOO MANY people complaining about  not knowing what they want to do in life, why not start with the things you like?
